What happens after you send it
Someone reads it, not a queue. If the photo settles the identification we will say so in the reply, and if it does not we will tell you what else to look for or arrange to come and see it. Anything active and unpleasant — a wasp nest by a door, a swarm indoors, bites you cannot place — is better handled by phone, because we can usually tell you what to do that same day.
The visit itself starts with an inspection rather than a treatment. We walk the foundation and sill line, the utility penetrations and thresholds, the roofline where it meets soffit and gutter, and inside, the rooms where the evidence is showing up. Then we tell you what you have, what is driving it, and what it takes to deal with it — including the cost before any work starts.
What to include
Your town matters more than the street address at this stage, because pest pressure in Delaware changes with where you are: the coastal and marsh edges, the older housing stock in the north, the farm edges through Kent and Sussex. Roughly how long it has been going on matters too — a problem that started this week and one that comes back every spring are usually different problems with different answers.
